Humor in Introspection

Health is common concern to affect every human at some point of time . Good health is a key to happy living and in turn success. There are a group of 'socially concerned' genre who take all the necessary medications for quick recovery lest not to spread the virus. How sensible of them. Well, there is a group of inscrutable creation with a don't care attitude. A mild fever could be diagnosed in short notice and cured. Imagine a cough that's persistent for over a month, sparing not even the dog in the neighbor's backyard. The lady carrying all the viral fame should be awarded for. Isn't it? It was more disgusting why because she hailed from a doctor's family. A miracle sparked the thought in her to buy the medicines after the second week. Huh! The credit goes to Mrs. Sharma, our house owner's repeated reminders. Delayed attention to health would of course take time to get to the root-cause, provided you get to feel like a human (than coughing like a Tuberculosis patient). The concern was pondering amidst all other similar minds like me, just that it had been cooking in the head-yet to be garnished and served. I happened to put my doubt to Mrs. Sharma. She looked serious for a moment and then replied, "Is her father going to inject the syringe meant for a horse?"

No room for any more doubts. Our lady's father was a 'veterinary doctor'. Hats off to Mrs. Sharma's sudden expression of her thoughts in sarcasm!

The answer often makes me smile. That's humor in introspection.
